Claydon, who draws influence from some of the worlds finest Americana artists has had a fantastic start to 2016 following the release of his latest single, 'The Best Is Yet To Come' which was immediately snapped up by in store music provider 'Mood' and can be heard on the playlists of both Harrods and Costa. Claydon opened for Nashville's Sarah Darling, has supported 80's pop/soul legend Andrew Roachford as part of his latest tour as well as one of Nashvilles fastest rising talents Cale Tyson. Claydon has also secured slots at several festivals including the legendary Isle of Wight Festival. He is currently putting the finishing touches to a brand new 5 track EP, working with award winning Canadian producer Murray Pulver (Bros.Landreth). It's sounding fantastic so far, with some great musicians playing on the tracks including Joey Landreth and Murray himself (previously of Crash Test Dummies and Doc Walker). "Claydon Connor’s clean vocals remained powerful and consistent throughout his set, his songwriting is on point and he is perhaps the best male vocalist in the UK Country scene right now." Zoe Hodges - 'Best British Country Music' "Claydon Connor is a talented songsmith and wordsmith, Not to be underestimated on the emerging UK country scene and the already-established UK Americana scene, this album will stand him in good stead for years to come." - Vickye Fisher, 'For The Country Record' ‘An incredible gentleman who looks the part, absolutely brilliant country sound; every song is an absolute belter, I feel like I’ve uncovered a gem.’ Matt Graveling – Best of British Unsigned
